Break Your Day Into Super Sessions - Time Management - Macro and Micro Super Sessions

Break Your Day Into Micro Super Sessions - Time Management

From the desk of Marcus R Hall

Greetings and Salutations! Today, I want to touch on the the topic of "Breaking Your Day Into Micro Super Sessions" in other words "Time Management".

When I first started earning money online in 2003, it was something I did as supplemental income to my Nuclear Medicine Technologist.  It wasn't even as a serious income; it was more like a hobby.

I opened online stores that drop shipped products, I was a "Product Broker" for others. I set up stores that sold manufacturer's product's for a markup. They would then ship it out

Without some sort of time management practices, I found myself working all day as a Nuclear Med Tech, and all night and weekends, the rest of the time, I was working my online businesses.

Now, bear in mind... when starting your own online businesses, you have to do what it takes to get your business started, and rolling along smoothly.

However, without time management practices... you will start to feel your getting nothing done, your efforts are futile. You will start to feel overwhelmed, and you will give up. That's what I started to experience... I tried to do everything and was getting nothing done, and had lost all time in my life.

Let me explain, what I learned from others to do to get my time under control.

I broke my time into Micro Super Sessions for Time Management, and I recommend you do also.

My Macro Super Sessions I broke into two different sets of days.

Macro Session One I performed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Macro Session Two I performed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.... I still have an occasional Saturday Micro "Free" Session (to do something that needs to be done quickly...I primarily want the weekends for me.

When Starting Out Your Time Management Macro Super Sessions Will Be Longer.

Your time management macro super session will be made up of multiple micro super sessions; and since your just starting out you will need to perform more work relating into more and longer micro sessions.

Each of my Macro Super Sessions consisted of eight - one hour micro super sessions.
I would have had 12 micro super sessions, had I not been recuperating from stroke symptoms from a medical condition.

Your micro super sessions will differ from mine based on your hopes, wishes, desires and circumstances.

My Macro Super Session One repeated every (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) as an example was:

Hour 1 - Quiet time going over my meditation and journal logging from the night before. You'll get an explanation about that later.

Hour 2 - Email Reading and Answering of Emails.

Hour 3 - Self Improvement and Education Hour. Watch a video, listen to an audio, or read a book.

Hour 4 - Income Producing Activity hour 1, (perform some type of income generating activity, place ads, blog, etc.). Choose one item... do it for an hour, then stop.

Hour 5 - Income Producing Activity hour 2, (perform a second income producing activity for an hour, then stop).

Hour 6 - Income Producing Activity hour 3 (a different topic than 1 & 2 performed for an hour then stop).

Hour 7 - Income Producing Activity hour 4 (a different topic than 1, 2 & 3 for an hour and stop,

Hour 8 - Return Phone Calls and Follow Ups that came in for the day for an hour then stop.

My Macro Super Session Two - performed on Tuesdays and Thursdays was simply made up of tasks I couldn't fit in on Monday, Wednesday, or Fridays.

By assigning these tasks to a schedule it  helps keep them from melding all together and appearing as an impossible feat to complete.

** A note on my logging and meditation journal.  I keep a spiral bound five subject note book that I date each day with my goals for the day written down the night before.

I close my eyes and think of my goals, I reaffirm my reason for doing what I do, and I think of ways to achieve my goals and add that to my journal.

I keep my journal with me throughout the day, and I write down anything I think of... You could call it "My Master Mind Notebook".

I review my Master Mind Note Book before I go to sleep; you would be surprised how your sub conscience comes up with answers while you sleep.

Hour 1 Quiet Time is the same daily Monday through Friday, as I review my Master Mind Notebook from the night before.

Saturdays I mentioned as an occasional free time. It simply means an idea or task that can't wait and needs to be initiated as soon as possible.
