Being Frugal Is The Cornerstone To Wealth
Hi ...welcome back to my Tid Bits To Success Blog. A Blog of information in bite size bits to help you on your quest to success; without overwhelming you, and an occasional rant before my head explodes.
Today, I wanted to touch on "Frugality Being The Cornerstone To Wealth".
A lot of folks feel that being frugal is only for the poor, low income people of the world.
Being Frugal Is One Of The Secrets Of The Wealthy
Being frugal is one of the secrets of the wealthy.
Frugality simply means "living within your means". This allows you to save and have money to use for other "income generating ventures". This can be a business venture, investing in education which will lead you to an income generating venture, or investing in stocks.
There are five traits of the wealthy outlined in one of my favorite books, "The Millionaire Mind" by Thomas J Stanley. If you haven't read it, I really recommend you do!
The five common shared traits are as follows:
Unless you have the ability to go in and get yourself a raise, which I doubt you do.... start living within your means, find a way to save money to reinvest in yourself in a start up business of your own, or at least start getting some extra cash flow in your life.
The five common shared traits are as follows:
- living below their means (frugality)
- allocating funds efficiently in ways that build wealth (investing)
- ignoring conspicuous consumption (don't buy things you don't need)
- being proficient in targeting marketing opportunities (being able to recognize opportunities, and acting on them quickly).
- choosing the "right" occupation (choosing an occupation that pays you for what you're worth, not what your boss thinks your worth).
So as the old prayer says, "Lord grant me the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference".
You can do that here: Get Cash Back Shopping For Things You're Already Buying Anyway!!! - It's free to join, and free money in your pocket.
I pray this helps you and am so grateful on having the opportunity and ability to offer these Tid Bits To Success! Until next time, "a penny saved, is a penny earned".
